DevOps interviews are getting tougher 🤯! Recently, I've noticed interviewers expect me to write complex IaC code using Terraform, pipeline YAML code with all logic and gates, deployment and Kubernetes pod files, and services - all without a code editor 📝 and no indentation or syntax errors. It's like they want a "DevOps robot" who knows everything without error 🤖. I'm wondering, is this realistic? 🤔 Shouldn't they assess problem-solving skills and fundamental knowledge?

Many people are coming in the DevOps role just after doing a certification or crash course. So the interviewer wants to see if the candidate has actual hands-on knowledge
We can ask the interviewer to write pseudo code whenever we can't recall the exact syntax.
I wonder how much experience did the job require
They are hiring for 5+ year candidate. 😅
